“It is far more difficult to murder a phantom than a reality.” - Virginia Woolf If you have been using pornography and fantasy for any length of time, it has seeped into your brain (Pornographic Mindset) and into your very being (Pornographic Style of Relating).
Wow, thank you for boldly addressing this issue. I don't think all men hate women, but I definitely understand where you're coming from. I have experienced this desire for men to dominate and keep women below them waaay too frequently- big and small. It's so refreshing to have a man share their opinion on this and to advocate for men to reflect, take ownership, and increase their integrity around their relationship with women. Thank you 💜
I also really appreciated your video on pornography. I honestly commend you so much for having the bravery and courage to speak about this!! Both to share your experience and to stand up for what you believe in. I also view porn as something that can grow a selfish/objectified take on sex and women. My experience dating men who watched porn is that they frequently had very unrealistic expectations that, as you mentioned, really removes them from presentism and reality. I like that you touched on our consumeristic culture- that drive for more can really leave women even more vulnerable. I think it's a big topic that isn't always black and white, but I believe you had some really beautiful reflections on the topic!
